Pique will pay 48,000 euros for driving without a valid license

Town Crier has gathered that a Spanish court on Monday has fined the Barcelona centre-back, Mr. Gerard Pique, with 48,000 euros ($54,000) for driving without a valid license.

During a routine check, the international footballer was stopped by municipal police in Barcelona and was found to be driving with a license that lacks validity.

After the court ruling however, Mr. Gerard Pique, in company of his lawyer, was seen with broad smile on his face, as he walked out of the court premises.

Meanwhile, in 2015, the Barcelona centre-back was as well fined of 10,500 euros for insulting two police officers who wanted to fine him for parking in a no-parking zone.
