Town Crier was on the street of Benin today to gather opinions as regards the Emirates FA Cup Final to hold today at the Wembley Stadium. Here are what football enthusiats have to say:
“I think Manchester United will lift the FA cup trophy, because Chelsea so far this season has been having managerial and dressing room crisis. Again the coach has not been having good relationships with some of his top players like Hazard, Morata, David Luis and others. These players would want to play abismally t OK favor his (Conte’s) sack. Now, it is rumoured that Nigerian own Victor Moses has riled himself out of the FA cup final squard as a result of an alleged injury, buy you and I know that Victor is hale and hearty.” — Osemudiamen Lucky.
“With the recent exclusion of key forwards, Antonio Martial, and Juan Mata, from their various national team world cup’s squard for Russia 2018, one would expect a psychological imbalance in Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of the all important clash of the titans at Wembley against Antonio Conte’s shaky bridge. On the other hand, the blue side of Wembley is also not finding their right firing boots as both key trio, Hazard, William and Morata have struggled over the season finishing 5th in the league table and having exited the UCL and Carling cup, the Wembley final would be up for grab depending on who wants to more, both sides last hope of silverware this season. The last time both sides met at this stage, Didier Drogba’s touch gave Chelsea the 1-0 victory, at Wembley far back in 2007.”— E.S Godspower.
“FA cup final which is today is a final I have been looking forward to because of the tense environment and atmosphere. Both clubs have win the last price for the season. It is going to be a tough battle but only the best will win.”— Kelly Ukrakpo.
“Today’s FA Cup Final is a match that would show the best among the two teams, knowing that the teams have not win any trophy this season. This could be the last chance of either teams to win a silverware. Looking at how the season has been for both teams, I think Manchester United doesn’t have much to loss, if they loss, unlike Chelsea that have failed to qualify for the next UEFA Champions league. This is obviously Chelsea’s last hope, if the result goes in its favour, and it will also be as a boost to Antonio Conte who has been critized for his woeful performance throughout the season. However, having lost this same cup to Arsenal last season, I believe Antonio Conte and his team would do all possible to ensure they come out victorious, this time around.”— Sama Kehinde.
“Obviously, following his poor performances this season and threat to his exist out of Standford Bridge, Antonio Conte is poised to give a boost to his stay at the bridge come next season, by wining the FA cup final. For Conte, today’s match is either a fight to career victory or a fight to career defeat.”— Aluya Stanley.
